2019 Time to Change…

So we’re at the beginning of 2019! A New Year, new start even a new you! It’s that time of year again when people reflect on the year gone past and look to the year unfolding and think about doing things differently. It’s that time when people take a long hard look at what they do and don’t want in their lives for the up and coming year. People start thinking about changing habits, setting new goals & overcoming challenges.   Yes, it’s that time of year when we take a good look at our lifestyle and dream about loosing a few pounds, getting fit, eating healthier, managing stress, overcoming anxiety or quitting bad habits such as smoking… All too often sadly these dreams don’t amount to anything more than dreams as fear kicks in and prevents people taking action and doing things differently.

Don’t let 2019 be the same as last year. Be honest with yourself how long have you been wanting to make changes? A few days, months maybe? Or even one, two, three or more years? Whats preventing you from moving forward?  I’m in no doubt it comes down to that horrible four letter word FEAR! Fear of the unknown. Fear of how will you manage? Fear of what you’ll do? Do you find a voice inside you is telling you, “You can’t do it?”,  “It’s going to be horrible!”, “You wont be able to cope? Or does fear manifest itself in an uncomfortable or debilitating feeling in your body that prevents you from doing the things you need & want to do? That Is the fear keeping you in the same old set of behaviours and preventing you from changing?  It needn’t be like this you can change and be free of those old behaviours that really aren’t serving you. You can free yourself and live the life you want. Follow your dreams, achieve what you once believed impossible. After all what is fear? For the most part Fear is False, Evidence, Appearing, Real. Most of our fear is generated by our thoughts of what could happen or maybe happened once. People can end up with phobias based on imaginary events or things that happened once.

The great news is that you can change this and free yourself of the fear and move on and enjoy the life you truly want and deserve to be living! It needn’t be difficult or uncomfortable and it certainly shouldn’t be debilitating. You’ll be amazed how your life can change when you’ve got the right mindset.
